Already have Product Carbon Footprints PCFs) created in another tool? You can import them directly into Manufacture 2030 instead of starting from scratch. Here's everything you need to know about bringing your existing PCFs into the platform.
Before you start
Your PCF needs to meet these requirements:
- The product must exist in your Product Catalog in M2030
- Calculations must be at the facility-level
- Measurements must be in kg CO₂e per declared unit
- Cradle-to-gate scope only

💡 Reminder: Always download a fresh template from the end of this article as it is updated regularly.
Here's what goes into each column of the template:

Enter the name of the facility where the PCF is calculated

Make sure it matches the facility name exactly as it appears in M2030. DOuble check the spelling. Even small differences will cause the upload to fail.

Enter the unique ID from your Product Catalog. It must match what is listed in M2030.

Enter your PCF value (excluding biogenic emissions) in kg CO₂e per declared unit.

Don't include biogenic emissions (CO₂ released from the combustion, decomposition or oxidation of biogenic materials, which are substances derived from living organisms).

These materials are derived from biological sources, such as plants, animals, and microorganisms, and include biomass, biofuels, and biogas. They are not to be included in the PCF value.
- Enter the unit of analysis for this product carbon footprint. All your PCF data should be in proportion to this unit.

Enter the measurement unit for analysis. Accepted units include:

Enter the weight of one declared unit of the product.
